If it doesn't have to be a Goldtop, you could keep your LP Classic and look for an used Special, then switch out the P-100's for P-90's. I thought I would hate the G Force system but so far I'm pleased (had to buy a charger for it though). The only other issue it had was a bridge pickup that could not be adjusted high enough, but that was an easy fix. I may wind up putting P90s in it. Ask how old it is. As far as I know Edwards started 2005 with serial number on the headstock, before there's a number under the neck pickup, as far as you have one.
