Jun 23, 2006. #6. if you mean the nut that holds the track rod end onto the hub it should turn mate.they can be a pain to get of especially as their should be locking nuts on them.easiest way to get it on or off is to put a jack under the ball at the bottom jack it up and bit to put some pressure on it and it should hold it still. Web24 aug. 2014 · The track rod itself is quite easy to replace, usually i use molegrips and try shock it anti clockwise and after it screws off easily, screw on new one and try get it as tight as you can although it cant exactly come off when the track rod end is connected to the hub lol just make sure you count the turns in the track rod end when you install them. how does the adversary system achieve justice

Nice easy job really, for the price (about £7) I've always changed the track rod ends at the same time. The hardest bits getting the tool in to remove them as it can be abit tight for space. Web25 mei 2011 · Although now the actual track rod end will not budge. :'( In theory the track rod end should be screwed onto the steering rack arm and it is only the lock nut that is tight. So with luck nut removed you can hold the steering rack arm on the 13mm flats and remove the track rod. Not on this one. The damn thing is on there for life!
