Small volume correction
WebIn this study, a correction of the CRNS-derived SM for small, irrigated fields is developed by combining novel and existing concepts, ... Given that, for the CRNSs used in this study, the sensing volume was larger than the relatively small target fields (1.17 and 1.25 ha), a large part of the detected neutrons that have soil contact can be ... WebJul 4, 2024 · Hi, small volume correction means that sometimes it will be too conservative to do the multiple comparison correction in the whole brain level. And if you had some prior hypotheses, we could limit our correction to some certain brain regions. I know for the fMRI research, it has been widely used, but I am not sure about the MEG. Thank you so much!

WebJun 1, 2024 · The reference slice for slice time correction was the slice acquired in the middle of the sequence (Slice 17). Parameters are as follows: voxel size = 3 × 3 × 4 mm, repetition time = 2000 msec, echo time = 30 msec, flip angle = 90°, slice thickness = 4 mm, slice gap = 0.8 mm, field of view = 230 × 230 × 167 mm 3.
For smaller volumes, W96 shows that the correction must take into account the geometric properties of the volume, such as shape and surface area. This is important, because you may well have an apriori hypothesis as to an area of expected activation in a statistical parametric map.
